D2's Getting 2 Star Prospects over D1's
A D2 program with the same level of interest from the prospect got a 2 star recruit over my struggling D1 program. How are you ever supposed to rebuild these programs if these happen. I home visited him (International prospect) and promised him a start. Nobody else was in on the player, just me and the D2 program. Its going to happen again, its just me and D2 program in the race. I get it if its the 148sg in the country but to allow D2 program to get ranked recruits over D1 programs is a travesty and not realistic to real life.

League Leaders sorting issue
When viewing league leaders, sorting by categories, the values are no longer listed in descending order. They start that way, but then will have values that are out of order (e.g. higher than those above them).

12/5/2025 and again today, this message appeared: “Error: You have missed games at the following levels: ML (1), AAA (1), AA (1), HiA (1), LoA (1), RL (1) Please check that your rosters are full and your batting lineups are valid for these levels as soon as possible. Thanks!” This is getting ridiculous!!!

Playoff Rosters
It’s a big deal for leagues with AAA players that we get 14 pitchers and 14 batters for the playoffs. Kind of sucks to have 25 when the normal MLB roster is 26 and the playoffs are 28.

Use a Cap that Matches Your Ads
I think a lot of the reason you’re having trouble getting new players is you advertise things like putting all time greats together then throw them into an $80 million cap league where they can play none of those greats. Making a higher cap the default would: Allow your leagues to more closely match what you advertise Make the game fresh by changing up who all the cookies are and what the best strategy is. Let people have the option of playing at least one superstar player.

Commissioner Settings
Option to set how the commissioner works so that I could avoid playing leagues where they replace my players. It’s perfectly reasonable to kick someone out and let them rejoin with a correct roster rather than messing with their roster and I’d prefer to enter leagues that do this.

Need a better alert/explanation for manual minors that clearly indicates it’s a separate cap. I’ve seen multiple new players including myself assume they couldn’t build a minor league roster because they didn’t have money left over for it. This is literally just changing the text on the alert message so should be simple to implement.

Budgets
Has there ever been any thought to changing the way high school, college and international budgets are done? It takes 4 seasons to go from 0-20 in those categories. When you have a team in a competitive window and want more money for free agency it seems we should be able to go from 20 to 0 in those categories if we want. Same thing if we decide to start rebuilding and we may want to go from 0-20. In the current setup you have 3 seasons of limbo and it seems very wasteful.

I've spent probably quadruple digits on this website and have 6 teams in the bank ready to play, but can't post in the forums to find any theme leagues or progressives, which are the only way I'll actually use these teams. What is this ridiculous kind of censorship? You have to spend money every year to post in a public forum?

Go through each game and pull out three things that stand out, the stats that told the story, like eight sacks, multiple interceptions, or multiple 100-yard receivers. Then write a short, generic recap article for each matchup, the way a league summary would read. Highlight the highest-scoring game or the closest game as the “Game of the Week.” You can also include a “Stat of the Week,” and connect it to whoever is currently in the MVP race.

Durability and control in Hardball Dynasty
Hardball Dynasty needs a strength and conditioning coach in order to raise durability of players or at least have a minimum the system will spawn. Ridiculous how low some guys are. No position player should generate below 70 or so. Please adjust he system somehow to make durability better. Same thing with control for pitchers. A minimum of 50, maybe.

Would love to have rosters going further back than 1996. I use the Sim Matchups feature quite a bit. I’d take as far back as possible, but at least the complete 90’s decade would be a nice start. Love the website and love the effort, been using it for years.

in SLB, List PA instead of AB in waiver wire
In waivers currently, the list of stats for the players shows “AB”. Since the game uses “PA” to determine tiredness, wouldn’t it be better to show the PA field instead of the AB field. From my experience as a Java programer, this change should be one search and replace.

When I get a random player, I like to rename them with the correct name. I would like Joe Foy to be 1967 Joe Foy or Joe Foy ‘67. Please lengthen the fields for 1st and last names and allow the field to be “varchar(16)”

Combine HBD franchise stats for players that have had multiple stints with a team.
In HBD, if a player leaves a team through a trade or FA, cumulative franchise stats do not stack. Meaning, if a player is reacquired by his old franchise, his years with the team and career stats are not added together. This could impact whether a player breaks a franchise career record or wears that team's cap in the HBD HOF. One example would be Albert Pujols who hit his 700th career HR with the Cardinals. In real life, that 700th home run was tallied with all home runs that Pujols hit with the Cardinals. This doesn't happen for HBD.
