wis nba filters

I have always wished that wis basketball had a filter for Team/League/Conference like wis baseball has. I have always wanted to run an ABA theme but it would be just too hard for everyone without any filters. Could also run Eastern Conference and Western Conference themes as well. If we could sort by NBA, ABA, Eastern Conference, Western Conference that would be so cool.

Hoops Dynasty showing unstable tap behavior on mobile

Seeing behavior while playing Hoops Dynasty on mobile when I try to tap on a specific line it doesn’t apply the tap there but instead is off by a certain amount. I also noticed this when attempting to schedule non-conference games for the next season. It only let me schedule one team then began presentation by this issue and wouldn’t take my schedule request unless I renavigated back to the scheduling menu.

Bug Report

Hockey Sim update of any kind

As someone who has been playing the hockey sim for 2 decades, I’m begging for some kind of update to the game - better line strategy options, update to the pre-merger players (hard to believe that legends of the sport like Mr. Hockey, Gordie Howe stinks in the sim), options to quick shift line or double shift lines by period, etc., etc., etc.

Assistant GM

Similar to how we can currently control what parts of the team, AI can control; could we get an option to allow a friend or family member to join us in running the teams? Just naming options, but the main account would click on which parts of the team the AGM can adjust - lineups, rotations, maybe I just want the friend to run the minor leagues, or to hire coaching. Etc.

GD end of half....

In my game today, I am up 10-3 and get an interception at the opponents 24 yd line. I have all 3 timeouts, but my game plan is set to run the ball which I am fine with. The problem I have is that I am only up 10-3 and the game engine just runs out the clock without even attempting a FG? Why would it not elect to try the FG? I am set to aggressive and to run the clock but that doesn’t mean to not try to score? The end of the half logic needs some work!

Spring training lineups & player settings

Both lineups and player settings are typically very different for ST. It would be nice to save a lineups and player settings as “ST” so that you can keep them separated from the usual settings. That way when the regular season starts you can load your preferred lineup (without having to reinvent it) and pitcher settings, etc.

HBD Increase Minimum & Maximum amount of Diamonds in the Rough

Currently, the minimum number of ditrs per team, per ditr cycle, is one and the maximum number of ditrs per team, per ditr cycle is three. Change this to a minimum of two and a maximum of four. This could lead to three things: It will give the hbd users that don't do much to prepare for ditr day that extra raffle ticket. This could lead to more post round 2 players and lower money IFA players on mlb rosters; It could give the hbd users that do prepare their rosters for ditr day that extra raffle ticket and instead of getting only one mediocre mlb ditr, maybe they get two mediocre mlb ditrs. This could give them more compensation for their hard work and preparation. It could also lead to more post round 2 players and lower money IFA players on mlb rosters; After hbd users see the outcome of roster preparation for ditr day, more users may employ their own strategies to prepare their rosters for ditr day. If this happens, we'll likely have more post round 2 players and lower money IFA players on mlb rosters. This idea combined with the create-a-player idea could likely change the landscape of hbd by getting more lower money IFAs and post round 1 amateur draft players on mlb rosters.

HBD Create-a-Player

Allow users to create three low impact prospects every season that get randomly added to the draft pool or IFA pool. This would not only add excitement to the game, it could help with adding more players to mlb rosters (more 2nd round picks and lower money IFAs on mlb rosters). It would be one prospect with an overall rating under 60 and two prospects with an overall rating under 50. Obviously, hbd users will manipulate this so there would need to be a cap (85) on all coachable and trainable ratings. Otherwise users would simply make prospects with 99 ratings across the board. Assuming hbd users develop the prospects, this will likely add more players to mlb rosters.

View All Rosters Access SLB

SimLeague Baseball commissioners have the ability to see a .pdf for “View All Rosters”. This should be available to all players. There’s no reason not to because there is nothing that can be done to edit the page, it’s simply informative. As a commissioner myself, i’d use the page to quickly see where and if a player is in the league. Everyone should have that ability.

Minor League Player Improvements

Just two simple ones (I’m sure there are many more). 1) Give us more minor league guys that are capable fielders. Make it impossible for them to hit past the AA level, if necessary, but providing enough guys in the lower minors that can play SS and CF adequately will make the game much more enjoyable for a few reasons (it’ll also help to cut pitcher fatigue by reducing errors/shortening games). 2) Give us more minor league pitchers who are true starters right away (guys who can go 5 innings at least). Bump up the stam/dur to a level that allows us to have real rotations. Again, limit them in other areas so as not to make them all Big leaguers. We all hate minor league pitching fatigue issues…most worlds have a few franchises (or more) that struggle with this issue every season. This should be an easy fix, I would think. Thanks

HD budget restrictions

Would like WIS to allow owners new to a league the ability to set there budget in first season of a new league that they have just joined, to whatever they want. First season only, then following existing rules for raising and lowering budgets after that season. I think we lose a lot of people new to WIS, and Hardball Dynasty. Lets say they joined league and picked the team with the first pick in the draft. Only to have weak scouting because of restrictions and end up with an average player at the number one pick. While another team after that pick, drafts a superstar player. I have seen many of people quit after feeling they got ripped off. Something to think about?

GD Recruit Distribution

I know the original programming for recruit distribution was based on how many schools are in the vicinity. Could this be changed to distribute based on human coaches? The sim controlled teams aren’t affected by distance. For instance there isn’t crap for recruits out west in D2. You are forced to battle for top recruits being at a huge disadvantage. Just a thought…
