ELIMINATING FCP & FB AS FULL-GAME SETS IN HD

In 2015, I would have fairly regular conversations with management about how eliminating fullcourt press & fastbreak as full-game team sets (possibly switching FCP to a situational set, akin to intentional foul setting) was on the agenda, and they have planned on getting rid of them for awhile and it was coming in a future big update (I was pretty p.o'd when 3.0 didn't include that, but they insisted it was coming with the next big update in 4.0, whenever that would happen). Then Adam Lorenz took over sometime around 2021 (not 100% on when) and I my first thought when you were chaging management was, “I have to talk to Lorenz somehow and make sure management comes through with their promise to get rid of FCP & FB.” Luckily Lorenz made himself available to get ahold of. I emailed with him several times and he was more enthusiastic about it unbalancing HD than Seble and Co. even were. Now here we are, rounding out 2026 and it still hasn't happened… I've waited almost a dozen years for this to happen and it seems like it's not happening. I need to know this is coming because I'm really losing my passion for HD. They aren't realistic full-game team sets, as no team can sustain them in real life for 40 minutes and FCP is something that is engaged and disengaged throughout a game. The hyrbid sets of zone/halfcourt press & man/halfcourt press should stay as they are real primary team sets. Fastbreak needs reworked completely or eliminated. I've always liked 2K's rebounding settings (run in tranisiton/some crash, others get back/and crash the boards). Please get this done!

quick additional summary addition please:

Please add the weather information/factor into the detailed boxscores information. It's helpful for scouting how to deal with upcoming opponents, especially when we can't see that information otherwise unless the games we're looking at already included our own teams. I found that you have it in the "Play by Play" subdivision of the boxscore, but it'd be nice to also have in in the boxscore itself.

If one of my slower players does indeed get pinch run for, how would "Sparky" determine who would take his place in the field in the following inning? Do I have to assign a replacement myself? If so, which hierarchy chart do I use? The Player Rest Chart or Defensive Replacement One?

One of my team's has 1971 Graig Nettles at 3rd. He's a great defender but slow. If “Sparky” pinch runs for him, how is the new 3rd baseman determined? Do I have to set it up in either the Rest Hierarchy Chart and/or Defensive Replacement Chart? Or would “Sparky” just scan my roster and install who he thinks is best? Thank you

I have some questions about how to set up defensive substitutions late in games. It's for these 3 teams. • Team Name: Rivalry United I want to make this substitution pattern late in games.want to make this substitution pattern late in games. Remove 1B 1998 Mo Vaughn Move 1994 Wade Boggs from 3rd Base to 1st Base Install 2014 Martin Prado at 3rd • Machine Age Legends (1973 & 1991) I want to make this substitution pattern late in games.I want to make this substitution pattern late in games. Remove RF 1973 Reggie Jackson Move LF 1973 Pete Rose from LF to RF Install 1991 Glenallen Hill in LF • Blood and Roses I want to make this substitution pattern late in games. 1. Move RF 2011 Jose Bautista to 3rd Base Install 2021 Mike Trout in RF I don't know how to make all of that happen using the “Player Rest Hierarchy” or the “Defensive Replacements” charts. rewards points

Can I make a suggestion? I know only world series winners get reward points, most places base reward points on dollars spent. Any way to add that to rewards points system as well without changing the points needed for prizes? I mean something like 1-10 points for dollars spent? I do spend a lot on this site (probably more than average) and hardly ever win (been here since 2004 started as Rschery) Think it's the least you guys can do to reward your loyal customers. We have all been patient with the promises of the return to live play which makes the game more interesting instead reading a box score. I will admit your customer service has been a huge difference since I joined back then, I always get a quick response and great follow thru. Do not change the rewards for world series winners, Just add the rewards points for dollars spent in addition to, not in place of

Please let us rename regular players' names

Please edit your algorithms to allow us as sim owners the ability to: 1 - rename REGULAR players, not just prospects 2 - in exhibition leagues too, not just regular and theme leagues …this is for any sport, though I most prefer for the basketball one so I can replace men’s NBA names with their WNBA women’s relatively same playing style equivalent.

“Since this is a Private World and you weren't the creator, it is up to him/her to invite users to fill any vacated franchise spots. He/she has been notified of the new password for the upcoming season, so you may coordinate with him/her in regards to inviting others. If the creator will not be returning, you must coordinate with the creator and decide which returning user should take over that role.” “Creator” should be changed to “commissioner".

“Arbitration eligible players are not allowed to be traded before arbitration.” -from: https://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Help/ViewAllHelp.htm That’s incorrect, arbitration eligible players can be traded before (and even during) arbitration. If a trade completes after hearings are over, the players involved must fit into the receiving team's budget.
