Here are some ideas on historical or fictional stadiums:
Hunger Games Arena
Roman Colosseum
Monday Night Rehabilitation Area from Idiocracy
Baker Bowl
Candlestick
Polo Grounds
Iowa Corn Field (Field of Dreams)
Huntington League Stadium (A League of Their Own)
Sandlot Ballpark

If this idea is too difficult to implement, if we could have some extreme parks added, that would likely move the needle a little bit. It could be historical parks or fictional parks, but something to break up the abundance of neutral parks would add strategy/fun.

I absolutely love this idea. Instead of having static extreme parks, just allow the hbd user to budget money to customize the park factor.
You could simply add the below factors to the budget. Once the budgets are final, it cannot be altered. For each park factor category, you can budget up to 4 million. For each million dollors added to a park factor category, it allows the hbd user to move the slider, up or down, 1 point.
As an example, if you're playing in Pittsburgh or Seattle, where the base stadiums have a negative two in both HR factors, a budget allocation of 2 million to the HR LF and HR RF, would allow the user to turn the stadiums neutral or make them the maximum extreme pitcher's park of negative 4.
Another cool thing an hbd user could do is create a stadium that has two separate HR walls. One where it has a negative 4 and the other where it is a positive 4. This could allow a home field strategy where the hbd user can try to recruit pull hitters to his lineup. This could make more use of the push/pull rating.
The strategy possibilities with this are intriguing.
The timing would be that the budget allocation locks with budget, but the slider locks after the last pre-season game. This gives users the ability to test the stadium sliders during spring training. It has to lock before the regular season, though. We can't have hbd users changing their stadium factors from matchup to matchup during the regular season.
Also, once the sliders lock, the “view ballparks” report will show the updated sliders. This gives opponents the opportunity to make lineup changes based on the custom park factors.
