Please add the weather information/factor into the detailed boxscores information. It's helpful for scouting how to deal with upcoming opponents, especially when we can't see that information otherwise unless the games we're looking at already included our own teams. I found that you have it in the "Play by Play" subdivision of the boxscore, but it'd be nice to also have in in the boxscore itself.

If one of my slower players does indeed get pinch run for, how would "Sparky" determine who would take his place in the field in the following inning? Do I have to assign a replacement myself? If so, which hierarchy chart do I use? The Player Rest Chart or Defensive Replacement One?

One of my team's has 1971 Graig Nettles at 3rd. He's a great defender but slow. If “Sparky” pinch runs for him, how is the new 3rd baseman determined? Do I have to set it up in either the Rest Hierarchy Chart and/or Defensive Replacement Chart? Or would “Sparky” just scan my roster and install who he thinks is best? Thank you

I have some questions about how to set up defensive substitutions late in games. Move RF 2011 Jose Bautista to 3rd Base Install 2021 Mike Trout in RF I don't know how to make all of that happen using the “Player Rest Hierarchy” or the “Defensive Replacements” charts. rewards points

Can I make a suggestion? I know only world series winners get reward points, most places base reward points on dollars spent. Any way to add that to rewards points system as well without changing the points needed for prizes? I mean something like 1-10 points for dollars spent? I do spend a lot on this site (probably more than average) and hardly ever win (been here since 2004 started as Rschery) Think it's the least you guys can do to reward your loyal customers. We have all been patient with the promises of the return to live play which makes the game more interesting instead reading a box score. I will admit your customer service has been a huge difference since I joined back then, I always get a quick response and great follow thru. Do not change the rewards for world series winners, Just add the rewards points for dollars spent in addition to, not in place of

Please let us rename regular players' names

Please edit your algorithms to allow us as sim owners the ability to: 1 - rename REGULAR players, not just prospects 2 - in exhibition leagues too, not just regular and theme leagues …this is for any sport, though I most prefer for the basketball one so I can replace men’s NBA names with their WNBA women’s relatively same playing style equivalent.

Recruiting

Something needs to change. Press in this new era has basically been crippled with so many D1 owners. Either add more players in the recruit pool, give extra funds to press teams or give less to teams that run man or zone. Another option would be to have reserve players that are way better than walk-ons. I understand the rolls are coin flips but you have many disgruntled owners that can field a team with the processes in place now. Other options by conference mates have been I've always felt that some additional "good" recruits should be released into the pool for the second recruiting phase to allow for folks who lost rolls to have a crack at decent talent. They maybe shouldn't be rated above a certain level (as to not devalue the earlier process and maintain the consequences of missing on earlier targets). Maybe walk-ons that coaches developed but didn't sign could fit that bill? Also, getting some recruiting cash back if you were supposed to win a roll by the odds and lost, would be a nice consolation to help coaches recover from a tough loss. Again, not the full amount you spent but a percentage to give you something to compete in the late window. Like everyone, I've been on the losing side of rolls that crippled my entire recruiting season and set my team back years. Some reasonable safety nets would be welcome to prevent a program from completely unraveling.

Two Way Players

Since Shohei Ohtani has all of his pitching and hitting seasons in WiS can we get other two way players in history added. Before Ohtani, the few two way players we had only got one hitting or pitching season depending on which one was best. If Ohtani gets both of his for all seasons of his career, the handful of players that did both pitching and batting should also have all of their seasons present. Here are a few of the ones that I’ve come across that could be changed. Ed Daily was a Pitcher and Outfielder that played from 1885 to 1891. In those six years he has pitching and hitting stats in all 7 years, however in WiS he only has two pitching seasons in 1885 and 1886, and then batting seasons from 1887 until 1891. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/d/dailyed01.shtml Babe Ruth has three pitching seasons in WiS in 1915-1917, and batting seasons from 1918-1935. He did have WiS eligible pitching seasons in 1918 and 1919 and WiS eligible hitting seasons from 1915-1917 There are many others such as Rick Ankiel & Brooks Kieschnick in recent times and in the early days players Jack Stivetta, Kid Gleason, Win Mercer, and Amos Rusie. There were quite a few of these guys in the early days when rosters were smaller before they reached their modern size of 25+. Can we get all of those seasons from all of those players now that WiS has done that with Ohtani.

Reset SLB salaries to base salaries

The salaries listed in the search are still the last change made when dynamic salary adjusting was happening. Since that is no longer something that happens, can we have SLB salaries reset to their base salaries? It helps in progressive leagues and such. The base salary is still listed in the salary spreadsheet that is put out when new players are added, so I know it still exists as a field that WiS keeps track of.

HBD Free Agency Asks

Two items that I think would improve free agency and overall play — Minor league players that become free agents after 5 yrs of service should be asking for minor league contracts with invites to spring training instead millions of dollars. Potentially useful organizational depth pieces end up lingering and having their ratings drop unsigned for years on end because no one wants to pay them their ask. This would also help new owners, who are sometimes duped into giving bad contracts to players because they are just going along with a player’s asking pricing. Also, for owners having fatigue issues in the minors this could help because they could easily go in and sign one of these players for cheap. Somewhat related, at a certain point within the first month of a season, all free agents should be willing to accept a minor league deals or at least major league deals for the minimum. Again, potentially useful players end up languishing in free agency for years before they finally retire after their ratings decline enough. Apologies if there is already a feature request for this, I tried searching but couldn’t find anything.

Incorrect linking and player names

I was going over the 1885 players and found the following errors: 1885 Pitcher - Unknown Palmer. When you click on the link on his WiS Page it goes to the BBR page https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/palme01.shtml which shows his name as Billy. WiS listed 1885 P Ed Begley actually shows his name as Ed Bagley on BBR. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/b/begleed01.shtml Player listed as 1885 Martin Powell in WiS. https://www.whatifsports.com/mlb-l/profile_draft.asp?pid=2198376&spot=9&mpid=11426&career=0&tid=-1&ld=0&bl=0&ad=1&AAA=0&AAAPos=6 His profile links to this Martin Powell that didn't play after 1884. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/powelma01.shtml However the player with the last name of Powell that played for the Athletics in 1885 was Jim Powell and his profile on Baseball Reference is here: https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/powelji01.shtml So the first name in WiS should be changed from Martin to Jim, and the BBR link updated to the correct one I provided.
